Just a great college basketball game.

And when your team wins a big game like that,

it makes the night go so sweet.

As Kentucky Beats North Carolina, 873, Ryan Lehman here in studio with Billy Rutledge,

Matt Jones joining us on the phone line.

Matt was just, you know, we've seen some great battles between Kentucky and North Carolina over the last 10, 12, 15 years.

This one was an awesome fun game to watch.

Yeah, it was a great game and most importantly it was a great game that Kentucky won.

You know, they led 39 minutes and 44 seconds of that game,

which is a pretty amazing, amazing street.

I thought Kentucky offensively I mean that look this is what this

Kentucky team is offensively they were excellent for almost all of the game

defensively they are what they are they're gonna give up points almost all of the game defensively.

They are what they are, they're going to give up points, but what made me the happiest

about this game, Ryan, is that, you know, we've had two or three years in a row where if it's a close game down the stretch

these teams have had a hard time closing this team closed you know the fact that they got

down one but Baycott makes those two free throws and then we come down and immediately Wagner takes it to the basket and scores to, that was the most important thing of the game

to see, all right, what happens when the chips are down

at the end of the game?

And we found in the last five minutes, Wagner, Dillingham, and Reeves all had huge takes to the basket,
