All right. Well, we'll see a five nine two eight, oh, 2287 with that auspicious start. It was a little bit with the way Kentucky played in the second half against the city state.

But after a really good first half and a great overtime, the cat get a victory 82 74 at home over the Bulldogs for Mississippi state. I will have to say that there's got to be no team that has had worse overtime luck against Kentucky going back to the SEC tournament in 2010.

We beat him last year down there and overtime and then beat him again this year and overtime.

It's been today's game was interesting because you saw a lot of the strengths and a lot of the weaknesses this team will have going forward.

Tata Washington didn't play. I think it's now safe to say that if he doesn't play consistently, this is not a continuing team. I mean, it's probably still a team that could grind its way into the tournament.

But it's not a team that can do anything serious. They got to have you. And without him, the game was a struggle with that said they came out and played well early.

It was really only after severe Wheeler got two fouls that the game kind of changed. He went out. Kentucky was up 10 and I actually thought played really well with him out.

They switched it while they still struggle to score. I thought they really turned up their defense at the end of the first half.

Second half severe comes back in. They get up as many as 16. But then it kind of fell apart down the stretch. And you know, I think a lot of what you look at today is you can focus on losing that 16 point lead and what happened.

You can also talk about how and over time they came through and want to clutch close game just like they did at A&M. That's two of the last three road games. They have played when they've been in hostile environments and they played really well down the stretch.

And I think well, actually, what an hostile environment tonight, but an environment where it was a close game and they played really well down the stretch.

Kelly was awesome and over time scored the first eight points hit two three. He got a lot of open looks tonight and couldn't get him.

But for the same thing I've been saying all year, even when he starts for.

He was one for her to me to for nine from three until overtime. I still wanting to take in the shot because he went two for two and over time. And that's why they won the game.

So 24 74 he hits those two threes at eighty 74 and you win. I think the story though, even with overtime is Oscar.

21 points and 22 rebounds first time a Kentucky player has gotten a 2020 game since 1976.

That's a fairly unbelievable statistic if you think about it. 1976 with Mike Phillips is the last time that happens. The second time it happened in college basketball this year.
