I'm Matt Jones here on Lexington Kentucky after the cats beat all of the 86 61 and maybe

one of the most boring basketball games that I've ever watched.

It was a unique game because you know this Kentucky team came into the season with 12 guys.

And so you thought to yourself man, this team is almost too deep.

They got too many players.

Like how you going to play all these guys.

And then all of a sudden injury start piling up and you begin to wonder if they're going

to have enough guys period.

They ended up with 8 tonight.

Obviously Fredericks out for the year, topping in where still injured and then Davy on

men's comes up sick.

And with only 8 guys, it was a different kind of game.

I mean, I think if Kentucky had even 10 guys, they win this game by 35.

But with only 8 guys, I thought Kentucky actually got tired at times.

And you also got a sense of how much better our starters are than our reserves.

And that's no offense to our reserves who play I think as well as they can.
