this morning, we basically said, look, Kentucky wants to win. Games got to be in the 70s. They

got to put points up because LSU is a good defensive team. Doesn't score a lot. And that's

how it played out. Kentucky just was not able to generate enough offense. They went 10

minutes where they scored two points. The only points being a dunk. And that's just not

going to get it done. Cats got up nine and second half. Look good. And then things collapsed.

There are a lot of different ways to go about it. On one level, sort of big picture, I'm

not overly concerned because, you know, four minutes in the game, they lose their starting

point guard who, along with Oscars, the most important person on the team. And then in

the second half, they lose their second best guard in Tata Washington. So you lose them

both in the, you know, down the stretch. And the offense was basically non-existent once

Tata was gone. When they actually had the lineup of Mints, Tata, Grady, Topin and Oscar,

they actually looked pretty good during that stretch. But then when they lost Tata, they

just couldn't find basically you're playing three non-shooters at that point. And that

just didn't work. They couldn't get anybody open. So, you know, in the stretch where they

got a nine point lead, by having three shooters on the floor and Topin's athleticism, they

were able to get open look after, after open look. The moment it went from three shooters

on the floor to two, they just couldn't get anything off. And when they did, they didn't

go in. You know, Davey on Mints, I thought played really well. He was once again the dude

down the stretch. It's not scared. You got to give him credit. But just like last year,

where he was the same thing, he goes out there, he balls, he plays hard, but he can't be
