The worst loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide on a basketball court since we started playing

them.

I think 100 was it 37 times or something like that.

And we've never lost worse than we lost today.

What worries me about the rest of this year is I'm going to be doing a lot of these shows.

And I feel like I'm going to have a lot of monologues where you're trying to figure out what

to say about another abysmal performance.

When we had the COVID year where Kentucky had the worst record in school history, doing

those post game shows was a lot of sort of, I mean, was very disappointing and it was

very frustrating.

But at the same time in some respects, we were glad to even have basketball, you know?

I mean, we didn't even know if we'd have a season.

So it was annoying, but it was also kind of like, well, it happened next year will be better.

Kind of thing.

This is different.

I mean, this is just, it's awful to watch this team play right now in some games.

Oddly though, I mean, there's still 10 and five and they still have a winning record.

It's not like that year where you knew the team was going nowhere and on paper this team

can still make the NCAA tournament.
