Summary

We’re officially in the dog days of summer, but there’s plenty of Kentucky sports news and nonsense to talk about, so grab a Country Boy Brew because it’s time for a new KSR Happy Hour. Today, Drew Franklin, Jack Pilgrim, and I will share our thoughts on Kentucky Basketball’s trip to Vegas, which includes a Kenny Chesney concert at the Sphere, Nikola Kusturica committing to UCLA, Mark Pope’s interview on KSR earlier this week, and several college basketball teams announcing plans for outdoor exhibition games. Will Kentucky jump on the trend? The World Cup quarterfinals kick off during the show with France vs. Morocco, so we’ll talk a little soccer too, including which team we’re rooting for now that the United States is out. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See https://pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

One thing we don't have in front of us, but I could use some right now, parlor pizza. Kind of hungry.

1:23.4

We love parlor pizza. Another sponsor of KSR's videos here. The one in Hamburg, it's just getting better and better. It's not open yet, but I got eyes on it. I'm watching the progress, hoping to have it before football season starts. Got them in Louisville, Lexington, New one in Richmond. And of course, for the third straight week, I'm shouting out parlor pizza's homemade ranch because it deserves all their credit in the world. Get their pizzas.

Jack, you like the hot honey, right?

1:46.5

Hot honey, Pep? By far the best pizza on the market, yes. We've got the pepperoni bombs and the housemade ranch. It's incredible. If you're in the area, find a parlor pizza. If not, get out of your area and get to an area that has it. Frankfurt, Louisville has multiple locations, Richmond, Lexington with one location,
