Megan, I don't know if you remember me mentioning this case, but I actually started writing this episode over two years ago.

So you know how I go to the Innocence Network conference every year?

Well, two years ago at the conference, I was chatting with some people about wrongful conviction cases and someone brought up this case.

And so I started looking into it, but unfortunately there was so little known about the case that I had to put it on hold because I simply just didn't have enough information to make it into an episode.

And I assumed, you know, many cases at this time, and while many cases in recent years, things were delayed because of COVID.

So I assumed that is what happening. So I always kind of kept my ear out to hear if there was anything going on with this case.
