Vulture Senior Editor Jesse David Fox. Our guest for episode three is The

Incompable Kristen Schall. One of the most innovative and original comedic voices of our generation,

Shaw's best known for a number of standout TV roles from Flight of the Concords to Bob's

Burgers to The Last Man on Earth.

Shaw is also a tremendously unique stand of comedian, opting for genre- pushing conceptual

bits instead of set up punchlines.

In this episode, we'll hear one of those bits, Dancing Bird, which Shall opened her Comedy Central Presents special with in 2009.

The idea is Shall has a singing and dancing bird who will act as her comedy partner for the

rest of the show. The problem is, the bird's not there. The only thing you need to know, it's a fairly visual bit is when she

unvails the cage all she finds is a little baby bird note. Ladies and

gentlemen, the next thing you'll hear is Kristen Shaw saying ladies and
