I want to frame our conversation a little bit though. I don't really like polls, but this

poll is very interesting. There is a poll out from Pew Research and they're actually one of the better polling firms and they asked they asked Republicans and Democrats what they saw was the biggest issue facing America today, and here we are one of the most

polarized times in our country and it the number one issue more than affordable

health care or our

broken political system or the economic wealth gap or violent crime

climate change racism illegal immigration terrorism sexism the number one

issue for people was drug addiction.

And I thought to myself, I mean, I know the disease of addiction as a motherfucker.
