I was excited to talk to Krista about her trip because she and her family were there for Christmas. They had a nice long trip and they were able to put Genie Plus to use obviously during a busy time of years things like that always help.

1:10.6

And so they were able to do that and she'll have lots of tips to share with you. And I just really enjoyed talking to her.

Welcome to podcast Krista.

1:31.6

Thank you Shannon for having me. We are talking on Friday December 17th. Are you going to Disney World for Christmas by chance?

1:39.6

We are, we are leaving tomorrow. So we are super excited and everybody's ready to get over there. So your trip starts December 18th and goes to win.

1:50.6

December 18th, we leave and we are back at home on the 27th. So our Disney, our Disney days are going to be the 19th to the 26th because we are driving there. So it's a little bit of time to get there.

2:03.6

2:17.6

All right.

2:19.6

Kind of get ages though.

2:21.6

Yeah, they are fantastic ages. They've just started to be brave enough to ride all of the rides. So there's really nothing off the table at this point in time.

2:29.6

Yeah. And they don't necessarily naps. Right. So they're also not sassy teenagers.

2:37.6

It's a perfect age. So it seems like a good window of time for your kids. Okay. So you said you're driving. Where are you driving from?

2:45.6

We are driving from Houston, Texas. So it is pretty like the trip.

2:51.6

Usually we do it often. We actually just did it over the summer. It probably will take us about 18 hours to get there. So we're leaving around noon on Saturday tomorrow. And then we hope to be in the Orlando area early morning, probably around like seven or eight in the morning.

3:08.6

As a person who has not driven from Texas to Disney Royal. What is your primary motivation for driving from Texas? Sure. So it's mainly just prioritizing where we put our budget for the trip.

3:24.6

We could fly, although flying a family of five is not inexpensive, especially around this time of year.

3:30.6

And my husband just prefers to drive and he does it all. He doesn't ask for any help from me. So it's hard for me to argue against that.
