Today, we are going to pick straight back up where we left you last time in the midst of this unbelievable trial.

Days two and three, they mainly focused on the scene and what the police found or didn't find or at least didn't test.

The defense grilled the first responders on why they didn't collect and test a hydrocodone

bottle that they had found in Eric's bedside table.

So this bottle that they find, it had expired in 2016.

He dies in 2022.

It's a long time expired.

Also, the bottle is empty.

It's just an empty prescription bottle
