0:10.0	Today we're talking about Corey Richens and her sentencing hearing and just to be clear, I thought she confessed.
0:20.0	Unwillingly, didn't mean to, but she confessed.
0:25.6	And she gave a long, largely self-serving speech to the court, quite narcissistic and certainly
0:34.6	re-victimizing the Richon family.
0:38.4	So let's get into it.
0:40.9	If you don't know, Corey Richens was convicted on a host of fraud charges, attempted murder and murder of her husband, Eric Richens.
0:55.0	And she has become, it's become quite a famous murder case because she had a book, ghost written after the murder,
1:06.0	a children's book on grief. So helping children through grief. And certainly children were this
1:13.3	subject of so much of this hearing. Corey Richens gave her speech to the court to really talk about,
1:22.6	usually you talk about things that you feel badly for.
1:28.3	You try to get yourself the lowest sentence and ingratiate yourself to the judge.
1:34.3	None of that with Corey Richens, certainly not.
1:37.3	No, this was a defiant Cory Richens.
1:41.3	A Corey Richens who said that she didn't do it and she will never stop fighting.
1:49.0	And that's not the only thing she won't stop with.
1:52.0	And this is so it started off, let's get into it.
1:55.0	So the hearing started off talking about restitution. After it went to restitution, it talked about the prosecution
2:08.0	wanting a basically a block.
2:23.3	They wanted to block Corey Richens from all communication with her, the three sons that she had with Eric Richens.
2:32.3	We know that they're being raised by Eric Richens family, Eric Richens's
