Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

I am blessed to be at the St. Lawrence Center.

Father Mitchell Zimmerman is doing a fantastic job at KU.

You know any young people at KU make sure they get to St. Lawrence.

I'm gathered here with a lot of friends. We've been having good conversation. Now we're going to play their rosary together.

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

And let's call to mind all those that we'd like to entrust to the Mother of God and pray for.

We also offer this rosary for the literally thousands of prayer intentions that have come in in the last few days.

And so we band together as an army united

with our queen, praying for all the people on that list. Today the church celebrates

a feast on the Immacular Conception.

C. Maximilio Colby gave the church one of the greatest insights to marry as the Immacular

conception and he dictated this to Brother Arnold in his office on the morning of February 17, 1941.

Around noon, St. Maximilian was arrested by the Gestapo

and ultimately taken to Auschwitz where he gave us life for another man.

I've had the privilege of talking, praying, and working with Father

Gregor Bartis, the greatest living Kobe scholar in that very room. We were also privileged to record the rosary on the road there

this past summer and it was supernaturally electric. Brother Arnold relates, generally Father Maximilian would dictate the text to me

while pacing back and forth in his little room.

He often paused for reflection or rather raised his... in his

thought toward the immaculata, because in those instances he would stop and seem to be staring into the distance.
