You know, Mike, people like your calmness, your down low demeanor.

Of course, they love the New York accent, but Mike is a professor at Alberta's Magnus

College in New Haven, Connecticut, and he also

incidentally has a law degree, so he can be our go-to guy with a lot of the legal issues here.

You know, folks, everyone was expecting huge things today.

Well, you probably shouldn't have from this hearing.

And really, you know,

someone said on the Law and Crime Channel, it's going to be a nothing burger. I love that expression, nothing burger, you know, and it turned out almost to be that, you know. And if you

didn't watch, I'm going to play a little bit of the

hearing here. But one of the things is like, it's all of this stuff has a lot to do with,

with timing. And, you know, a defendant, they have the speedy trial clause in there, really for a defendant.

But when a defendant wants to slow down that speedy trial thing, he absolutely has the right to do that.

And in essence, what happened in the hearing today is that the defense slowed down the speedy trial, you know, thing today,
