I'm your host, retired NYPD Sergeant Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD, a lot of new information, a lot of sort of movement, I guess I would say, in the Koeberger case, in the movement in the way that the defense is making a lot of motions.

The prosecution, as we know, has released some things of late that have seemed to, of course, the huge stir.

But this is the latest, and you see it up on the screen.

Koberger's family may be asked to testify by the prosecution. Wow. That's a biggie. No one ever expected that. And why would the

prosecution call the family? Well, one of the reasons was that the defense was asking for the family

to be able to get priority seating in the courtroom.

And of course, the prosecution doesn't want that.

There's four families there that lost a loved one, and they're going to seat potential killers family in the priority seating in the courtroom.

But not only that, many members of Brian Coburg's family may have pertinent information for the prosecution.

And in addition, the defense could use the family members for all of the conditions they're

alleging that Brian Koberger now has OCD, you know, ADHD, I don't know, all these alphabet

potential, what would you call it, comidities i don't know if that's the

correct word uh but all of these things that affect his motor skills his thinking and they're going

to claim everything that they can get away with but that may have just thrown a monkey wrench into that.

Because now if they call them, and it's strategy-wise, I'm just talking,

obviously the prosecution gets to cross-examine them and vice versa.

The prosecution calls them, now the defense is going to use them for their purposes,

where maybe they would have said, maybe we won't call them,

because it could be a little bit dangerous if we do call them.
