You know, one of the things that we, I know all of us, criticized was the prosecution in this case.

It really seemed as if they almost preferred to take a plea deal with Brian Koberger.

When really aggressive prosecutors, like I always refer to Matt Murphy from Orange County in

California who we had come on the show and said this was a case that was dying for the death

penalty was dying to go to trial so everyone could find out what actually happened but because

he took a plea and admitted to murdering each one of these four

kids, we never got to find out what actually happened. And one of the things I was really

annoyed at was why they never asked him any questions in his allocution there was no allocution he didn't admit

to all of the charges he just admitted to killing each and every one of those kids and what i

wanted to be asked was where's the knife where did you throw knife? And make that part of a closed door plea agreement.

You get us the damn knife or the death penalty is still on the front burner.

They didn't do that.

And I thought they were a little bit too lenient with him.

And I thought Bill Thompson, and i would bet i would

bet i would almost guarantee that bill thompson is an anti-death penalty prosecutor i would almost

guarantee that and i'm not saying there's anything wrong with that but because this was a death

penalty case maybe he should have recused himself if he was an anti-death penalty prosecutor.

And Mike, I know you're anti-death penalty.

So I'm going to frame this question for you.

What are your thoughts about what I just said?
