KP is waiting in the wings as we often rely on him to do.

We've got NXT Tag Team Champion, Kofi Kingston joining the show in a little while.

We've got lots to talk about regarding RAW 30 and the Royal Rumble, which is just around

the corner.

But before we get to that, I'm joining you on Wednesday as we record this.

And last night, during the evening, the news broke.

That has really resonated throughout the entire sports entertainment family.

And that we lost another one of our own, unfortunately way too soon, Jay Briscoe, who two WWE fans

may not be familiar, but to those of us within the business who have spent any time on the

independence, particularly in the Northeastern part of the United States.

You'd be hard pressed not to find somebody on the WWE roster who hasn't encountered Jay

Briscoe.

He passed away as a result of a car accident.

And obviously at this point when recording this, there's still details coming out.

His children, at least his daughter, I know, was still in the woods as of we're recording

this.

So I just want to take a minute to extend condolences to everyone who knew Jay as a husband,

as a father, as a friend.

I'm not going to profess to be best friends with Jay.

I've wrestled him with him several times in the past.
