Monday night edition of the pod, one of the better Rando NBA nights in a while.

Kobe Bryant's Jersey Retirement Danny was there and then that was obscured at least for me by

another thrilling game between the Lakers and Warrz and Staples. Some of the second of those that we've

had inside of three weeks here. Also a fantastic comeback in the last minute by the Celtics after

Indiana had then made a fantastic comeback on them. We'll talk a little bit about the Denver

OKC game as well. OKC, toughing out a one point victory against the Nuggets and of course some

you're due to be down in LA on business this week. What are your impressions of the whole Kobe

retirement ceremony? It was very nice. I mean, it was a lot more pleasant than the last Jersey

Retirement I went to, which was the Chris Mullinger's Retirement, which is kind of famous in the

order community because Joe Lake got booed off the stage. But it was it was a really nice overall

evening and the half time which I'm sure erred on some network was was nice, but then every stoppage

throughout the game was tributes of some other forms. So it could have been former players, it could

have been figures within the Lakers and it was it was very nice and so it was really a tribute to

his career. It was interesting that they didn't do a whole segment on the 81 point game but did one

on the 60 point game, which we actually for those of you who want to listen to dunked on classic,

I think that's one of the best episodes we ever did was the that was the the Warriors 73rd win

and also the the Kobe 60 point game. We really spliced in the audio on that one. We stayed up to like

five in the morning. I remember doing that episode on the last day of the regular season. Yeah,

and and so it was nice to put all that and then the the part that was I don't know if it was

surprising to me, but the scale of it was surprising was there were a lot of NBA luminaries in the house
