The brother of the pilot in the Kobe Bryant helicopter crash is blaming the passengers.

Yes, you heard that correctly.

So the brother of the pilot who flew the helicopter that crashed and killed Kobe Bryant,

his daughter and seven others, has argued in court documents filed yesterday that Kobe

knew the risks of flying and the pilot should not be held responsible. So the documents filed

were in answer to Vanessa Bryant's wrongful death lawsuit against the pilot and Island Express,

the charter company that flew them on that awful day, she filed this in February.

Her lawsuit claims that the pilot was flying too fast in heavy fog and failed to assess the weather at a very critical point on the trip.

The morning of the accident was particularly foggy in Los Angeles,

and that meant even the police department's flying fleet were grounded.

However, this pilot did not abort the mission.

It also alleges that the pilot was unsafe and notes that a previous discipline had been filed against him in 2015 for violating

visual flight rules. Vanessa's lawyers are seeking unspecified damages. However, now the pilot's brother,

who appears to be representing him, is fighting back, actually blaming Kobe and the other passengers
