I am Ben McKee and I am joined by Westrucker

and Will Heflin on this edition of the podcast to preview the Knoxville Regional and the other

regionals around the NCAA tournament. But first we're going to check in on West and Will.

How are you boys doing this morning? Y'all ready for some

both season baseball? I am yeah I'm definitely excited. This is kind of you know you go

through the whole season which is exciting in its own way, but then you get to

You get to this part and it's you know it's it's really fun. I mean it's kind of it heightens everyone senses right because every team you know if the

if the team you cover goes on for like a long post season you're going to watch a lot of

other teams get eliminated along the way and I never like watching anyone's season end.

Just to be honest, I just never do,

because it takes you back to that moment when you were a player

and at any level, like when you knew your season was over and how like

disappointing that was and so I don't like that part of it but you know it raises the

stakes and it's a it's fun it's um you know it's why we do this is to see kind of post-season championship type environments.

And thankfully, Tennessee is now at a place where it's like an annual thing now that we get to enjoy this because we cover it so I just I mean it's it's great it really is.

Yeah, I'm super excited too. The only guarantee this time of year is that there will be crazy stuff.
