Hello, everybody. Welcome to another episode of For You from Eve. We are back with another guest

0:16.6

episode today. We were already yapping for 20 minutes before the episode started, but that's okay.

That's normally how my guest interviews go. Very excited for today's episode. Been stalking Amber on Instagram like crazy. She wears so many hats. She has an amazing book. She's had an amazing podcast. She has so many amazing coaching lessons and just great quotes on her page. So definitely make sure you check it out. Well, let's get to know her a little bit first. Amber, do you want to do a little introduction, who you are, where you're from, what you do, all that good stuff. Of course. So I'm Amber, Amber Lyon. I'm now actually Amber Maniturian post-marriage. Yes, congratulations. Thank you. I'm a coach in the self-development space. Really, what I work with my clients is magnetism, this concept of being magnetic and living magnetically. So what does that mean? Right? We've been inundated with manifestation and what that is. Magnetism really flips the dialogue. Instead of I'm wanting the new car, the new house, you know, the new job so that I can feel a certain way. Magnetism is all about what is it in this experience that I'm seeking and how can I cultivate that from within? And what happens as a result is we naturally magnetize, right, that word, these experiences into our life.

Not only are they oftentimes greater than what we could have put on paper and imagined for

1:34.0

ourselves, because that's based on my idea of what will make me happy, but it's the reality,

1:39.6

the experience of what brings me joy.

1:41.5

So really the reason why I got into this work was because of seeing

1:47.5

suffering in my own home, seeing the struggles of, you know, my father had a drug addiction,

1:53.8

my brothers were struggling without that father figure in their life. They were raised somewhat

1:59.2

separately to my sister and I, my mom, and just seeing how

2:05.5

patterns and subconscious beliefs perpetrate our lives. And without mindfulness and

2:13.4

awareness and so many of these tools that I'm working with my clients on and cultivating,

2:18.2

we're sort of subject to this unconscious programming that we inherited and that we sort of were

2:25.2

conditioned with in our early years without making conscious choices as to, is this really who I want

2:31.3

to be in the world? Is this belief my own?

2:38.1

Or is this something that I adopted because it was just handed down to me?

2:52.3

And, you know, the work that I do, I'm so passionate about it because I get to see the changes that happen in someone's life when they do make these shifts, when they do realize their creative power in life, that things don't have to be the way that they've always been there's a new reality available for me i've done it in my own life and my own experience and

2:58.8

that was really you know the blueprint for what then i took into my coaching work and what i do now right

3:04.4

and i feel like this is just such an important topic for my audience as well, because I think your 20s, your 30s, even going into your 20s, like at your 18, 19, I agree. I feel like what we're raised with is what we just think our life is going to be. Like, oh, my parents were broke. I'm also going to be broke. This is a lifestyle I'm going to live because my family lived it and even those patterns of just like

3:24.7

the abuse or the addiction like it carries on and i saw this one thing once like a quote and it was

3:29.9

like it ran into my it ran through my family until it ran into me so like stopping that pattern

3:34.9

and i just think it's such an important topic if you don't mind can you give us a little bit about
