Hey everybody it is the 8th of September I'm watching the sun come up over the

Blue Ridge Mountains in the

Shannonville Valley of Virginia and just wrapped up my first hunt of the year. I was prepared.

I had everything I needed. I had the title sponsor of this show, On X Hunt on my phone and on my

dashboard. I had a Gunner Kennel in my truck. I had garment around my dog's neck.

I had DU Supplies phone number in case I needed something. I had Purina Pro Plan filled up in

the Gunner Kennel food crate. I had my K-9 athlete for the dogs. I had my wilderness athlete

for me and my friends. I was wearing marshwear. I had my Arksos boots. I was shooting my

Mossburg S.A. 20 and it was filled with Boss Shot Shell's new Dove and Coil Steel. I had everything.

I even had some patrons down here. I didn't have watermark beer, but I'll have that as soon as I get

back to Michigan. I had everything you

could possibly need for a good hunt. Friends, family. Only sad part was we didn't have any

doves. Well, that's kind of a, that's an exaggeration. It wasn't what I thought it was going to be.

It wasn't what it was in years past, but it was still a great hunt. We had laughs every night. The only thing we didn't have was a campfire. And I think we'll have one tonight because it's only like 45 degrees here this morning. I think it'll be cool enough to have a fire. Wrap this trip up, put it in the books. I hope you all had a good one, whether it was doves or geese or prairie birds,

whatever you're doing. Hope you had a great trip. It was just, yeah, this is going to be a short

intro. I'm just tickled. I'm just pleased as punch with everything except the number of doves.
