When we got off the call with her, we both were kind of like on cloud nine.

Oh, my word.

And we just loved her. And since we talked to her, I have only thought about,

oh, I wish we could have stayed on and talked to her about this. Oh, I wish we could have asked her more

about this. And so what a treasure she was, 96 years old.

Our oldest guest on the Strong Women podcast, an amazing woman, married for 74 years, married for 74 years and has been a Christian since the 70s, I think, 1979, she said.

You know, she said she had, her son was almost 10, I think, when all that happened.

And she was saying that the Watchtower, the Jehovah's Witness, had encouraged their people not to have children.

So they only had one.

And they encouraged them for 10 years because of the upcoming apocalypse.

And so I think she became a believer at the end of that.

And that's when she had more kids after that.

But I thought that was so interesting. I didn't know that, that they were encouraging their people not to have kids.

Well, yeah, I learned so much from her. And when we were just talking on the phone right after our conversation with her, we could have just spent time saying, okay, what was it like to live through the Great Depression?
