There is no way that you're going to see what God does and learn the ways of God.

You can see the works of God.

There are two ways we can be acquainted with God.

We can know his works, which is knowing what he does, or we can know him by his ways, which is knowing who he is.

In the book of Exodus, Moses had a huge task at hand and he knew he could not do it without knowing the ways of God.

When we understand how crucial our faith is, we can see how it makes all the difference.

If you have your Bible turned to Exodus chapter 33 as Adrian Rogers shares more on knowing the ways of God.

Exodus chapter 33 beginning in verse 12.

And Moses said unto the Lord, see, thou sayest unto me, bring up this people, and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt sin with me.

Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.

Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, show me now thy way that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight, and consider that this nation is thy people.

And he said, my presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

Now Moses is facing a great task. He is to take the chosen people, call the children of Israel.

He is to lead them all the way through the wilderness and into a land called Canaan, the promised land.

And faced with this tremendous task with many things unforeseen, unforeknown, he makes a prayer.
