Good morning from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where it was just shy of 4 a.m. and we are kicking off the

second day of the Republican convention here in

beautiful Milwaukee. An interesting day yesterday. The selection of J.D. Vance, the Republican of Ohio,

was not surprising. I had been hearing J.D. Vance for days, although as we indicated yesterday,

I believe in the midday edition, nothing is official

until you hear it from Trump's mouth itself or himself. And even after Trump says some things,

he takes it back, I don't think he's going to take this back, but J.D. Vance on the ticket.

We broke down yesterday in the midday edition, just to get through this quickly, if Trump wins the White House,

he is gonna, Mike DeWine is gonna have an appointment

in Ohio, a bunch of different options for him.

Just to, this is really quick to bring it back home to the Capitol.

He could appoint Bernie Moreno,

if Bernie Moreno loses, he could appoint someone like Matt Dolan. He could appoint someone like Max Miller, who's currently in Congress. Pat T. Berry, he has a lot of choices. Frank LaRose. So we're going to be watching carefully what he does. Obviously, that's a long way away and
