Christ-minded, believing upon the finished work of Christ on the cross is the cornerstone of our faith.

Hebrews 12 and 2, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith but actually allowing him to author

write our lives direct our lives like a script who for the joy that was set before him

endured the cross despising the shame and is set down at the right hand

of the throne of God. We believe that Christ is our example of how to handle persecution.

Christ was the reproach of men. He was despised of people, mocked, ridiculed, and rejected. Yet he did what?

He finished. He finished. He endured. He finished. He died so that we don't have to die.

He paid the price so that we could be free. He went all the way and did not quit. John 16 and 33. These things have

these things I have spoken unto you that in me you might have peace. In the world you will have

tribulation but be of good cheer because what? I've already done that. I did it to show you how to do it. I died so you'll know how to die. The difference is you have to die daily of yourself to accept his will. But I died. That's what he's saying.

I've already overcome the world.

Because I overcame the world, you can overcome the world.

Amen?

That means you can get the world out of your system and not be conditioned by the world.

Just as Christ was able to accept God's will, we should be able to do the same.

No matter how the world attacks us, we must do what?

Continue to fight.

Contend for the faith.
