Summary

Dr. Youssef turns to Exodus 30 and the sacred oil that symbolized the Holy Spirit, composed of spices that reveal His work—myrrh, cinnamon, calamus, and cassia. The Spirit heals our wounds, purges sin, transforms brokenness into Christlike humility, and cleanses us for holiness. Just as the oil anointed priests and lit the temple lamps, the Spirit anoints every believer as part of God’s royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9), filling our lives with the fragrance of Christ.
