Hi, this is Victoria. Thank you so much for downloading this podcast. I believe God has amazing

0:06.0

things in your future. I hope you enjoy this message.

0:17.1

The Bible says in Genesis that we are made in the image of God. You see the image that we carry on

0:24.7

the inside of us has a lot to do with what we reflect. It has so much to do with what we identify

0:33.2

with, how we see ourselves, what we go after. In fact, our image is our source of strength and

0:42.4

confidence. That is really the key to living the abundant life that Jesus came to give us.

0:49.9

Now, our image was distorted in the garden. It was separated from God, but God said,

0:56.2

I'm going to rebirth this image in you. So you have been re-birthed with the image of God

1:03.3

when you said yes to Jesus. But too often, things that happen in our life, maybe the way we were

1:37.7

to hurt you. He intended you to know who you are in Christ Jesus and to identify with him and his

1:46.0

power that lives in you. You see, if you don't know who you are, you won't know what to identify with.

1:55.8

It's interesting because God knows what we're made of. He knows who we are. He knows that we were made

2:07.1

in his image. The question is today, do we know the image that's on the inside of us? Or how we

2:16.2

allowed things to distort that image? I was thinking the other day. The only way I know what I look like

2:24.6

is because I can see myself in the mirror. I get up in the morning, I wash my face, I brush my teeth,

2:32.3

and there I am looking back at myself. We all know what we look like only because of the mirror.

2:40.6

Now granted, someone can describe our looks, our physical, but if you ask two or three people,

2:47.2

I bet you'll get a different description every time. But when you look in the mirror,

2:52.8

you see the image of yourself. If someone shows me a picture of a big group of people,
