It is a nightly pleasures update.

You know that that word means it's not going to be fun.

I'm just going to level with you.

I have just hit a wall trying to record logistically.

And it's actually the Thursday that this goes up now.

I'll tell you just briefly the last 24 hours of attempting to recording.

I did stay up last night to stay up until 4 a.m.

The motorcycles and the industrial trucks start around 5, which means they can start as early as 4.30. So about 4 is the cutoff point. I tried to record between

11 and 4, and I got 15 whole minutes done. This, oh, uh, this is why I've stopped taking commissions, recorded pieces commissions.

I've just stopped entirely throughout the month of April, essentially, because five hours

for 15 minutes is insane. And 15 minutes is not long enough

for even the podcast piece. Just in the last 24 hours, just police, just police sirens.

I didn't even know that there were red eyes to Albuquerque, a red eye flight to Albuquerque.

A new church opened up, and even though I never get any knocks on my door, somebody knocked on my big metal security door, so that recording got thrown out.

And I'm just, I could have foreseen this, right?

Because I was gonna take down the weatherizing when it started to get warmer.

I had no idea that it was blocking.

It's just, you know, four strips of plastic.

I had no idea it was blocking this much noise.

So, good news.

I have gotten a custom fit.
