My God, last night down in Atlanta.

I don't think anybody is surprised that the New York Knicks advanced out of the first round.

We all expected it.

I don't even think a lot of people are surprised that the series went six games.

As you'll hear a little bit later on, we have all the predictions from every WF fan host.

But you have to admit, all of us, I don't care how positive of a Nick fan you are,

you have to be slightly surprised that not only do you win game six by 51, but in the last two

games, including game five at the garden, you beat Atlanta by 80. By 80. Like that level of ass ass-whooping, even in the NBA, is not normal.

It has to give you tingles if you're a New York Snicks fan.

So, A, congratulations on advancing and doing your work.

And B, wow, wow.

That was such an ass-whooping.

Boy, did that feel different for this city.

You know, Evan, they call these the long goodbyes when teams are eliminated and you know the game is over early. And it feels like in this town, we have been on the other end of long goodbyes for a long time. Game 7, 2004 Yankees, Red Sox, the long goodbye. Giants Eagles. Thank you. The long goodbye. Where you just know you're not in it and you have to sit there and watch your team get eliminated and there's like two hours left in a game, you got no shot. I don't recall an elimination night quite like this in this town in recent memory where if you said to yourself, hey, second half is really what matters, I'm going to get settled in at the end of the first quarter. The game was already over.

Well, you know what's funny you say that.

I heard a lot of people say that last night on social media this morning,
