I, of course, am Danny Parkins, and we are very excited that the World Cup is underway.

As one of the co-host countries, Mexico, up to nothing on South Africa, looking

pretty good in that opener there.

What did you think of their first impression?

Yeah, Danny, you're not going to hear me say this often, but I want the U.S. men's national

team to take a page out of Mexico's book and start their game exactly how Mexico started this game against South Africa. That's Eric

Lear, the defensive midfielder for Mexico, stepping up, pressing high, suffocating South Africa,

trying to play out of the back foolishly and getting an early goal. Julian Quignones was fantastic

throughout the entire game,

a real thorn in the side of South Africa. But this is exactly how you want to start as the host country.
