The Knicks make a trade, find someone who can step in and fill those Deuce McBride minutes at Jose Alvarado, a New York guy.

Everybody loves it. Ben Stillers tweeting about it, Brooklyn, and the whole edge, and this guy coming in and giving them some grit.

So positive returns on that. It's not like they went out and got Janus, but they

definitely filled a need and got a guy with a personality that we really like. So here we go.

Is this the team? We talked about the wins of a championship behind them in the beginning of the

year. No Janus, Alvarado in. Everybody else is the same.

Is this finally the team that breaks the New York championship drought? Good morning,

That's for sure. You know, I was thinking about this when we were talking about the other day,

that if Yannis doesn't get moved to the Knicks, let's hope he doesn't get moved somewhere else that he could have a negative impact on the Knicks.

And that was the other part of this whole thing that Yonis ended up staying in Milwaukee.

So if this team does not do it, then maybe they have a chance to acquire Yonis in the offseason, which I think is another positive

aspect of the NBA trade deadline for the New York Knicks. And with Jose Alvarado reading everything

about him, look, I'm not going to sit here and tell you that I've watched every game. He's ever

played. I think I've probably watched about four games. Yeah. And I can only go by what most of the

NBA insiders, scouts, ex-coaches, ex-players say about him that he is a gritty player. It's exactly what the Knicks need. He's defense first. And, you know, he'll die for balls. He's only 6'1, but, you know, he's supposedly a really intense basketball player, which is exactly what you need in the playoffs. And that's exactly what Josh Hart is.

You know, Josh Hart, when he came here, you know, we all wondered about, you know, his offensive

prowess, but it really wasn't about that because his offense is not bad, but his defense is really

is calling card. And I think that sounds at least. That's exactly what Jose Alvarez is and the thing Alvarado is. And that's the thing

that the Knicks need now, especially with McBride out. Yeah, I mean, and when you have that

sports hernia and there's a surgery there that's definitely an injury, it's going to take some time

to heal so they don't know about the postseason availability for Deuce McBride.
