From what I'm hearing, Jason Kidd wasn't fired.

He wanted out.

And apparently, I'm hearing it wasn't even mutual.

He was done.

He didn't want to coach there anymore.

and the Dallas Mavericks were dead set against allowing him to go to the Knicks.

So he ended up getting a new contract extension.

Just to keep him from the Knicks. I think he probably had the leverage to get it just based on the success that he's had. And then obviously the Mavericks have made changes in their front office. Masai Jury's taking over. And for whatever reason, I've got some speculative ideas. Jason Kidd don't want coaching her anymore. He's probably eyeing another team. He's probably eyeing. I don't know, maybe it's where Janus goes. He had a good relationship with Janus and Milwaukee.

I lose the series. They'll get Jason K. He is not the only person that thing down. An alarmist Nick fan. And it still kind of exists in this world where the Knicks don't win the Eastern Conference Finals. Now I think we're all in the same planet of assuming the Knicks will win this series. The only person at this radio station that picked against the Knicks was Sean Morash who, as we know, deletes tweets that he's incorrect about. so I think the consensus is that the NICS will get to the NBA finals. And I think if the NICs are in the NBA finals, no matter how that goes, Mike Brown is not getting fired after one year. He'll be safe. He's probably safe already as it is. But if they get to the NBA finals, there's no way that they're making a change unless Mike Brown wants to go someplace else. which if you're Mike Brown, why would you want to go someplace else? No, no, no, no. You want to run it back and see if you can go back to back and make yourself like legendary in some capacity. One of the decisions he made last night, I commend, because I said before the break that he benched Josh Hart, and I guess technically he was on the bench, so he was benched. I don't think Josh Hart played bad in the first half. Now, he missed four threes like everybody else, but on two-point shots, he was four-five from the field. He had like three or four assists. He had a handful of rebounds. He didn't turn the ball over in the first half. And defensively, he was a pest. Josh Hart was not a bad player, despite what the plus-minus says. I think it was about circumstances and it was about trying something.

I think Mike Brown made the wise decision of why would I move away from something that's working?
