gearing up for a big Knicks Cavaliers game two Eastern Conference finals tonight at Madison Square Garden.

And I play this because we had Kenny Adkinson, I think it was last hour talking, maybe two hours

ago talking about how not everybody's doing their part, leave James Harden alone.

Well, this is Mike Brown.

And he is talking about when his team has not succeeded or has not done well, they look themselves in the mirror.

The teams I've been around that have, that have had a lot of success, you know, they usually

have accountability within their group because that goes a lot further than me yelling or

saying stuff at times.

And this team has that case in point josh hart

will do what's necessary if that means play hit shots sit watch cheer i don't have the ego i said it last

year the last several years i'm here uh to serve these guys um and you know that that's the the gift guy giving me to go out here and serve these guys, make sure they're in the best position to be successful enough. And to win. And then here's Jalen Brunson. Boomer is referencing the college connection with these guys, which has been a storyline, obviously, since they've all been here. Well, here was Brunson talking up his teammates. It's great to have guys like that.

They've known for a long time be in those positions with you.

You know, you have a lot of fond memories of going, having been games and doing stuff like that.

I will say, gee, I heard the same thing.

That's off the air. Here's Kenny Adkinson. So we talked about the lack of defense from James Harden, the way Jalen Brunson just kind of abused them in the fourth quarter and an overtime. But Adkinson says, actually, it's the other side of the floor that bothered him. I tell you, looking back on it, the fourth quarter, when I'm probably more disappointed about it was our offense. Shot quality wasn't great. We weren't getting to the round. I think we took nine threes. And the ball was sticking. And so they blow that 22-point lead. What kind of bounce back or fight will they have tonight? Or do they get their doors blown off time? No, here's the thing. So he's talking about how poorly they played and how they weren't making shots, but yet they had this huge lead. How about the Knicks? The Knicks didn't play well. They didn't play like they played in the 76 or series or the last two games against the Hawks. They were rusty, let's face it. And you've got to believe now, hopefully they can find their rhythm tonight. And hopefully they, you know, Deuce McBride took one shot the last game. And how much of, like, Energizer Bunny has he been for the team? Right. It's been great. And, you know, so like the Knicks, the Knicks didn't play a great game. They had a great fourth quarter led by their captain.

I don't even know if he's considered the captain, but he should be. And, you know, maybe tonight

they get back to their free flow and offense where they're all involved again and still play

tough defense and get the turnovers that Gio was talking about when it comes to the

cavaliers turn to the ball. I mean, that's a constant. They have not stopped being sloppy like that this entire postseason. And if the Knicks are up 22 in the fourth quarter, they're going to win like 40. And that's exactly what they've been doing. So hopefully that's the case again tonight. I'd like to see a rocking chair spot, but the only reason I don't think it's going to be that is because of Donovan Mitchell. You might be right. Now, you guys, I think referenced this earlier, the Chris Russo on ESPN talking about this game and the fact that he didn't see it. I do enjoy the beginning part here where he's got to explain exactly where he was and what it was. Yesterday morning, I may be appointment with an MRI, and you know, that's the little tubes thing.
