Nix get their long, important regular season underway tonight against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Already heard some of the injuries that they are dealing with.

But this regular season, man, this cannot be a rocking chair type of regular season where it's all about, you know, the postseason and who cares?

Because, you know, last year, you know, they scuffled and were disappointing

in the regular season for most of the year. Now, they ended up winning a series against Boston.

We didn't expect them to win, but still ultimately didn't get any further, did not get

to an NBA finals, which they're going to have to do clearly this year to be a successful season.

But this needs to be like a statement regular season.

This can't be, oh, we're figuring things out or blah, blah, blah.

No, you weren't one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference.

You need to have close to 60 wins, if not over 60 wins. And you've got to be going in there with home court advantage in the playoffs, and you've got to be ass kickers, and you've got to be intimidating. This is not going to, I don't want to see this. Well, you know, it's a new system, and bl bl bl bl blit, it's going to take us some time. No, you're as talented as any team. You're more talented than any team in the Eastern Conference. You might not be the best team together right now, but you're more talented than any team

in the Eastern Conference, belt to ass.

All right, well, all right, so here's the thing.

I just read this story that Matt Barnes put out there and his comments.

And I'm like, uh-oh, hopefully this guy learned something.

Because according to Matt Barnes, Ron Artecest and Kobe Bryant just ran over his ass.

Those are his words, not mine.

Yeah.

And that they were subbing themselves in and out of games.

I hope he learned from that experience.

And I know that those are two very strong-minded and strong-willed players that you were coaching back then.

I don't necessarily know that the NICs have anybody quite like that on their team.
