With these playoff series, it's up and down, it's peaks and valleys,

but we were looking for a dominant performance.

We have been looking for reasons to believe that the New York Knicks could move on from this

first round and beat the Boston Celtics, a reason to believe if they ever faced the Cleveland

Cavaliers that they could beat that team. So we said it all yesterday. We'd like to see a rocking

chair. We'd like to see another dominant performance by Carl Anthony Towns. And you just didn't get that.

It was sloppy. They played some good defense. But outside of that, it was the worst offensive

game that they have played in this series. I don't know what in the hell Tom Tibido was thinking

at the end of this game.

He's got to get Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson back in the game.

He cannot watch this game, just slip through your fingers with those two guys sitting on the court.

And now they've got to go back to Detroit for a game six.

And the way that they have played at the garden in this series is alarming.

So yeah, I'm annoyed, I'm disappointed, and I did not come away with a reason to believe they could beat the Boston Celtics after last night.
