Going into the season, their starters will rank number three in the whole league. They will look at it as being number three. Well, because you know why, though, Mario? And here's the thing about the Knicks. This is what's so confusing about them. I said something earlier that I don't think qualifies as dumb assery the way Sean did. I said, hey, talent-wise, I think the Knicks are the best team in the East. It's a part of why I picked them to go to the NBA finals. And I stand by that. And when you describe the starting five and you say Jalen Brunson and you say McKell Bridges, never been an all-star but borderline at times, you say Ogeana Nob. and you say Carl Anthony Towns, from a talent standpoint,

it is one of the best starting five. Of course. But it doesn't work. Look, that's what we were

alluding to earlier. This team has the names that make you feel like, hey, we're picking in a

school yard. I want those five guys on our, on my team. Yes. They don't play right together. And we're saying this because of a sample size of two years now. Like I'm big on... And J.R. just mentioned it with the plus minus, the net rating. It's just, it's terrible. So here's what I did. I dug into the weeds on this. I took the starting five and I wanted

to go deep into the numbers. And overall, the numbers are okay. They're not great. They're not bad. They're

okay. But when you dive deeper, you see the difference between the first few months of the season and what's

happened recently. And what's happened recently is it does not work. Right. And this is now over two coaching staffs.
