You can be an underdog. You can go into an opponent's building and you could just show the resilience

and the persistence that you have had through the playoffs and you can win a game. And that's what

the Knicks are going to have to do tonight. You know, it's going to be crazy out there in San Antonio,

but there's a determination that Joe and Brunson seems to bring to this team that

listening to McKell Bridges yesterday during press day, all the things that they were talking about, the things that they're saying, I mean, they are hyped, but they're not overhyped, if you know what I mean. They are like they're on a mission. They feel like they're on a mission. They feel like they have something to prove. And they know what's on the line here. Come on. I mean, it's the NBA finals.

Yeah, so I saw, I mean, I know it doesn't always translate, but it definitely plays into the Knicks favor. You know, in the history of the NBA finals, when one team is coming off a sweep

and the other team is coming off a sweep and the other

team is coming off a seven game series, the team coming off a sweep is 20 in four.

I mean, wow.

How about that?

Yeah.

I mean, so I know part of the reason why that is is because teams who sweep their conference

finals are generally like all-time teams. And maybe the Knicks end up being one of those all-time teams. If they win in four or five in this series, you won't be able to deny how good this team was. It'll be not just the best Knicks team in history. It's going to be one of the top 15 teams in NBA history the way they played in the playoffs.

I always thought this of the Knicks, especially the 69 or 70 Knicks and the, you know, the 73 Knicks.

When I think back to them, think about the team that they had to beat to win the championship.

They had to beat the Lakers.

Yeah.

And the Lakers went on to become the storied franchise.

And the Knicks got buried until the mid-90s and then just were never able to get over the hump.
