Summary
The Knicks are headed back to the Eastern Conference Finals, and Evan Roberts and Tiki Barber react to a blowout that felt like more than just a series clincher. New York overwhelmed Philadelphia on the court and in the stands, turning a road playoff game into what sounded and looked like a Knicks home game.
Evan and Tiki break down the Knicks’ scorching shooting, the Sixers’ visible surrender, and the stunning fan takeover that left Philly embarrassed. They also debate whether this seven game Knicks surge is starting to look unstoppable, how injuries have not slowed them down, and why Josh Hart’s postgame jab at Philadelphia landed so hard.

| 0:00.0 | So I'm gonna take my bitterness, I'm gonna take my anger, my frustrations, watch a 60 lost season in pick sixth, and I'll put that to the side. |
| 0:09.6 | And I will be an IBO today as we celebrate the fact that the New York Knicks did not defeat the Philadelphia 76ers. |
| 0:17.9 | They didn't even open a can of whoop ass on the Philadelphia 76ers. They humbled, |
| 0:23.3 | they embarrassed, they tarred and feathered, they took over a city, they took the women and |
| 0:29.5 | children. This was an annihilation like we've never seen before. As for the second straight year, |

| 0:58.6 | You know why? |
| 0:59.5 | Because it was all Nick fans in there. |
| 1:02.1 | So kudos to the Knicks. |
| 1:04.2 | I mean, good riddance to the 76ers. |
| 1:07.0 | This felt like an inevitability, especially after games one. |
| 1:11.4 | Two was a different type of win, but game one and two, this Knicks team has just opened and unlocked something that seems hard to defend and maybe inevitable that they're going to the NBA finals. |
| 1:23.6 | Well, they're playing a brand of basketball over these seven games that usually are only accomplished by like dynastic teams. Right. Like what they've done over these seven games, and I get it, we could talk about how flawed Atlanta was or Philadelphia. That's irrelevant. They're the teams in their way. That's all that matters. And over this seven game sample size, they shoot the lights out every single night. I mean, every single night, they're shooting 55% from the field. They shot better from three point range than they did from the field last night. Isn't that crazy? They shot 57% from three in yesterday's game. They made 11 out of their first 12. Like, it was, it was absurd. I heard Gio say, and I think it's a great comp. It was Harlem Globetrotters kind of stuff. Right. Like it was a circus. It was a show. It was also apathy from the 76ers. You could see it. How many open three-point? I'm talking about in the first quarter. Sure. How many open three-pointers did deuce take? How many horrible switches and just give-ups after you get picked did the 76ers show and the Knicks were able to just take easy open jumpers? So this was partly a mind-eff of the Knicks on the 70s. I'm serious. On the 76ers because there were moments where you watch them and they're not even trying. They stopped trying. Their soul got snatched by the Knicks. Yeah, they beat the care out of them. Yes. So when you say that the Sixers had kind of given up and you're right about that, I'd give the Knicks credit for that. They beat them so badly that there was a giveup. That's right. That they basically topped out. |
| 3:11.1 | And so story number one of your Nick Finn is the pure domination. I've watched basketball my entire life, and we've watched a lot of dynastic teams. And look, I'm not saying the Knicks are a dynasty. I'm not even saying they're going to win an NBA championship. There's still got a lot of ways to go. Eight more wins to secure it. But over this seven game run that they're on that really started with game four against Atlanta, they have played as well as any team can humanly play on every level. |
