Murray, I think, has been reporting some here in the break about what's going on in New York with the Knicks coaching search.

Let's hit on this for a second.

It's interesting story. So the Knicks fired Tom Tibido after their run to the game six of the Eastern Conference finals, beating the Celtics in the second round and getting, you know, two wins away from the NBA finals. They fired Tibido. They have put in requests for Jason Kidd, been rejected, put in request for IMA O'Dca in um houston been rejected and who was the

you jimmy had a rebuttal in the email but i said to you guys guys, I don't remember this happening. Is this like a distinct NBA thing? Like, if you go after a guy that's available or a college coach that might be looking to have a contract. Well, no, no. I mean, here, let me tell you what happens, Murray. That does happen. You fire a coach and all of a sudden, well, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fire Tony Dungee, and all of a sudden they called the Oakland Raiders at the time and trade for John Gruden. Yeah. Okay, so like you fire a guy because you've got a line on the next guy.

You know there's a deal to be had.

And you, you know, in short order, swing that deal and trade, you know, Patriots fire Pete Carroll trade for Bill Belichick.

It's a bad job.

There's something in the works in this scenarios.

But I don't remember a team firing a coach after going on this kind of run and then putting in requests like birdshot for guys that are gainfully employed and enjoying their positions ostensibly.
