We come to you on this Saturday evening as you kind of anxiously wait for a game six this evening in Indiana.

Clearly the biggest game the Knicks franchise has played since, I would say,

since the conference finals against the Pacers back in 99, I don't count the final games

because, one, the finals is a destination.

You have achieved something by getting to the finals.

Number two, when that Nick team got to the finals, everybody knew that it was going to be a walkover for San Antonio.

I mean, you just knew it.

I mean, they had no way of dealing with the brilliance of Duncan or with any of the power that San Antonio had at the time. So you knew it was

going to be a short series and it was a five game series. But this is the biggest game. And seven

will be as bigger, bigger if they can accomplish the first part of what is a two-part

scenario, Windonite and come back and play a game seven in the garden.

And you know, Indiana wants no part, no part of a game seven.

Why would you?

Up three games to one you wouldn't.

But they squanded an opportunity in game five, which I'll get to in a minute.

You know, harkening get to in a minute.

You know, harkening back to that series, ironically, when the Knicks, if you pass on their trips to the finals in the days, the glory days of the great two Nick teams that won championships,

they went through the Pacers both times to get to the finals.

One time against the Rockets, a series they should have won.

We've gone over that countless times through the years.
