A wild final play in what has been a bizarre finish here.

As the Knicks falls short, the first time this season, the Nix had a lead going into the fourth quarter and lost.

A bit of a painful loss, but this was a hard-fought slugfest between two of the best teams in the NBA.

And you saw his first team that just was not going to let up and they lost their

superstar when he had to limp out of the game. They still dialed it up a 41 point fourth quarter

and a 71 point second half for the Spurs. The Knicks really struggled to guard a lot of things.

It had nothing to do with Mbanyama. It had to do with three-point shooting.

Unfortunately, we do not end the year on a high note as Julian Champany. Peas and everybody's champagne

about two hours here before midnight. Final score San Antonio 134, Knicks 132. Really wanted this one.

Although I'm not going to lie, I was watching it. It became clear at the end, the Knicks were not going to win.

I'm like, well, better they lose this one and have won the NBA Cup than win the, or lose the NBA Cup and win this one. And yet, as I'm saying that out loud, I'm like, well, only one of those two games that actually counts on the standing. so I don't know how accurate that is, but, you know,

frustrating for a couple of reasons.

Primarily, you're up by 11 points with whatever it was,

seven or so minutes left in the fourth quarter.

All the momentum on your side.

And then San Antonio's best player and a guy who tonight

look like the most impactful player in the sport.
