This is not the California Gold Rush that started earlier in 1848 in the United States.

This Gold Rush started about 50 years later in Canada.

If you love the Gold Rush TV shows, then you probably already know that some of the mining in those shows

takes place in the Klondike or nearby regions. Those TV shows are reflective of a modern-day

Klondike gold rush, but today we are going back in time

to the first Klondike Gold Rush.

And here are some questions I'll address.
