If you see someone walking around your neighborhood, looking into parked cars with bags, clearly on the hunt to steal stuff, what do you do as a civilian?

Do you try to do one of those citizen

arrests do you pretend you don't see anything keep moving or do you just trail the person for a few

blocks because i had the situation happen to me yesterday middle of the day this was not like a

late after hours thing this was just out walking the dog and all the sudden saw something

suspicious decided to uh you make the left instead of the right and kind of see what was going on. That's when I was pretty convinced that there was a guy that was definitely casing parked cars, which is... Already, I'm going to go ahead and guess he was not just based on your history, but... He was such a bitch. I knew you would say that i trust me what i said he couldn't remember

he parked huh he was slowly on a bicycle so not that slowly riding alongside the cars parked on the left

looking into all of the windows of the cars then he would cross the street slowly and ride across

all the cars parked on the right look in the cars occasionally if he came across a car that he saw something he liked, he would stop and check the door handle. So what else could he be doing? He's not just like a friendly door to car to car checker of door. The guy's up to no good. And, you know, there's people, I don't want to say, I'm not profiling here. There's nothing to do with ethnicity or anything else.

But let's talk. There are shady looking people. We can all agree that there is a shady look that some people. Yeah, you have. I think I have it. I mean, I agree. I have guilty. I feel bad. I tell whenever I go to TSA, they look at me a few different times. I get shady look. I get shade eye. so even if you were following this guy you you would probably be the one people would call the cops on. I was concerned he was going to report me as a shady guy's following me and I'm just trying to take a bike ride. There was a concern there for a moment. So I did have my dog with me. So it wasn't like... So you were even less threatening. Yeah, less threatening, but I also had a reason to be going out. Like, you know, if you're walking through the neighborhood with a dog, I don't think many people, I mean, it's a great. I'm not the same as like seeing a guy jogging jeans. You're like, what are you doing? Right. And this guy is suspicious, you know? He's technically on a bike, but he's got multiple bags around his, you know, for his. Do they look like he's maybe a homeless guy who uses bags to transport?

No, because the bad, I mean, the answer is could be a homeless guy, maybe. The bags were not like plastic bags or paper bags from Ralph's. They were like, you know, duffles and, you know, a mismatched set of bags that looked like he was there to put stuff in the bags. I mean, look, I'm not an idiot. Yes, I am,

sometimes an idiot. Sound like an idiot. Occasionally, I've done idiotic things. But I think 10 out of 10

people would see what I saw and say, this guy is casing cars to grab stuff, which, by the way,

has been happening all over the place. You're right. It has been happening everywhere. My

instinct would be to peer

go peer through the blinds I was already out where were the blinds but like I

would go home I would not be around that so you'd walk away go home yeah I don't

want to be around somebody who's doing that but I would call I would peer I would

...
