I went, you know, we were talking last week about trying to

turn Jake's shack into a place where we could take all of these animals from, that, um, Chloe's

critters is getting shut down and give, uh, his, give all these animals like the squirrel with

the head trauma and the, there was a crow with a broken wing. Right. And move them all into

Jake's shack. And Jake seems open to the idea. Yeah. I was so inspired, Jake, that over the weekend I went to a place, apparently, that already does something similar in Culver City. But what they do is they focus on all these animals that don't belong in Southern California, but have somehow been smuggled in to Southern California. You know me, I'm a big fan of like good smuggling stories. So every time a guy gets caught trying to sneak a bunch of tarantulas in his pants through L.A.X. They send him here? They don't just smash the tarantulas with a shoe like I would think they would do. They bring them all. Which is very fun.

Well, it seems like a fun day. If you work in TSA, that's a great day at work, right? Oh, it's tarantulas. Under tarantulas I could smash? They go to this place, unassuming place, just like right there kind of in the middle of Culver City. It's called the garbage. It's called the dumpster. And it is apparently where they take all of these animals that really shouldn't be here, but somehow got here anyway.

For instance, Allie, I met a, and this is a great thing that could go to Jake's place.

There's a woman that thought she found a kitten.

And she was in Texas, and she found a kitten that just in the wilderness.

And she goes, I'm going to take this kitten home and care for it. And the kitten started getting really big. And the woman took it to the vet, and the vet said, you have a bobcat. Cool. And the woman's like, whoa. And the vet's like, yeah, you can't really have a bobcat here. So we got to go ahead. And what are you going to do at that point?

You can't flush it down the toilet.

So what do you do?

Yeah, but it's like a domesticated bobcats. They say it is domesticated, which means you can't let it loose in the wild because it wouldn't be able to survive. But also, it's still an effing bobcat. so occasionally it can jump nine feet in the air and claw your eyes out.

Cool.

So is this some sort of sanctuary where they keep these animals?
