means to be human. Today, I am excited to introduce my guests who are joining me to discuss

part four. Welcome to the show, Dr. Michael Burdett and Dr. King Hulung. Yeah, thanks so much for

having me on the podcast and joining this conversation.

So my name is Michael Burnett.

My day job is I'm an assistant professor of Christian theology here at the University of

Nottingham.

I have a background in engineering, actually, have done some work in robotics in the past.

But my day job mostly consists of teaching people Thomas Aquinas and Lonevoteology and

systematic and philosophical theology for newcomers. But what I do on, I shouldn't say on the side,

it is the kind of one of the main researches I work on because I have this background in engineering

is things related to theology and technology and to have thought published, slaved over, ideas that technological culture is raising, certainly for who we are as human beings, but also specifically as people of faith.

I think sometimes in layman's terms, we can kind of imagine that science and technology and religion and questions of meaning and spirituality are,

you know, to use the technical term, non-overlapping magisteria, right?

That there's kind of that these things can't have conversations with each other.
