We have a very special conversation for you today at Kevin Keatsman has issues because not all stories are the same.

This one, to me, is exceptional.

It breaks a lot of what are perceived to be norms in American society. When we talk about

Americans in race, it's often portrayed as only black and white, which we know isn't the case

that this is a melting pot. There are people from everywhere, all types of

backgrounds, upbringings, and types of families, religions, and skin colors. We know this about

our great land. We cherish this about our great land. But Ron Freeman has a particularly unique

experience from all of this because he's lived a pretty amazing life from growing up wanting to be

a black panther to at a very young age going to church on his own and sort of controversially

befriending a white boy where he grew up in southern Missouri and that became a lifelong friend

at a time when those things didn't really happen in the 1960s.

He would go on to Star and play football at Pittsburgh State. He'd play in the USFL.

He was selected by the Buffalo Bills. He got a very short stint in Kansas City playing

professional football for five years. After that, he became the Chiefs Team Chaplain for seven years,

and beyond that, became quite a leader in his community in a variety of different ways.

And continuing this day, he works with kids coaching football with Greater KC Football Academy.

18, 8 to 14-year-olds, still teaching football. He is Josh Freeman's dad who played at Kansas

State and in the National Football League. Josh now lives in Tampa. After his days in the NFL,
