influences my nightmares in a positive manner. I bet there are lots of things about bamboo you don't know. Did you know it's the

fastest growing plant on earth? Some varieties grow as much as 36 inches in 24 hours. That converts to

almost a meter in 24 hours. Maybe the fairy tale should be called Jack and the bambooboo stalk. Bamboo can be classified as an invasive species. Now there's a

nightmarish word. It can be used as a weapon. Think blowdarts and jabblins. It also contains a toxin which produces cyanide in the gut once ingested.
