I'm Mike Dempsey-Loll with Football's own Bob Harris and Bob. Unfortunately, as there usually is, a lot of injury news to dig into after a week of NFL football, week one in the books. Let's start with the 49ers.

A lot of injured bodies here.

Yeah, Kyle Shanahan spoke to reporters on Monday, the day after the 17th, 13, went over

the Seahawks.

And unfortunately, two of Brock Purdy's key offensive weapons left the game with injuries.

We talked about this Monday morning.

Tighten, George Kittle, left him the second quarter with a hamstring injury. He did not return. Wide receiver, Juan, Jennings left in the fourth quarter with a shoulder injury. He was unable to return. Shedahan told reporters Monday afternoon, Kittle will miss a few weeks with a hamstring injury. Jennings is still being evaluated. We got more on that, though. Ian Rappaport's reported Kittle will miss three to five weeks. Jennings is having a CT scan. So Jake Tongas, who scored a game when he touched on Sunday, could help fill the void, but we don't know if Purdy's playing. He averts from the game with multiple injuries, his left shoulder and a toe issue. The toe injury is said to be more severe, and he is considered day-to-day.

Shane Hans unsure about his status for week two against the Northern League Saints. Mack Jones will start if he could not play, and I think he'd probably be a pretty reasonable pivot if you were in a bind against the Saints, but obviously not ideal. The Jennings injury is significant as well. Brandon, Iook, still working his way back from ACL and MCL injuries. The team added Kendrick Bourne. But second year wide out, Ricky Pearsall, it's going to be a very busy man. And Christian McCaffrey, who by the way, probably came out of Sunday's game in better shape than just about anybody, despite his his... All the doubters, 31 touches, and he was absolutely fine.

So there you go.

Yeah, the one guy you would think would lead the injury report is unscathed, it appears.

All right.

Well, other news around the National Football League, Bob, not injury related, but Kevin Stefanski, the head coach of the Brown says he'll take aand-see approach with Quinn-Johnkins in getting him up to speed here and whether or not he'll play in week, too, we'll determine how he practices this week. I think that's pretty quick if he were to be on the field. But regardless, in the meantime, it's doing Samson now the guy that is playable in this Brown's backfield. Well, we went in.

Jerome Ford and Samson were both, you know, prime for larger roles with Jenkins out for the opener.

And it turned out Samson, the rookie fourth rounder, was the focal point of the offense.

He had 20 total touches showcased his versatility, caught all eight of his targets.

Between Samson's emergence against the Bengals and Jenkins eventual and perhaps imminent return,

whatever value Ford had is diminishing quickly. You know, you might have gotten what you're

going to get out of him, or at least for the most part, not advocating moving on. But,

but this is going to be Junkins and Samson show going forward. Samson until Junkins is ready.

By the way, rookie Harold Fanon, who was phenomenal in college, led the team in targets. Is this going to be a problem here for David Nogoku? Well, yes, and maybe no. I mean, according to pro football focus, they had played nearly as many snaps as in Joku. I think Joku should still be viewed as the number one tied in here, but as PFF's Nathan Yankee notes,

it seems likely Fannin will play more as the season progresses based on how well he's done so far. Also, Jokku's is the last season of his contract, so Fannan is clearly a future. By the way, our colleague Matt Waldman has been pounding the table for Fannin since last month. the argument is the Browns don't have a deep wide receiving core and Fannin could serve as the team's de facto wide receiver three. And I think that's true. Barang of a sudden rise of Isaiah Bond, that seems like a fair view. So Fannin might be a viable play going forward. Bob, let's go back to last week with Kansas City. Xavier Worthy started, but got injured early, didn't post any points
