That's President Donald Trump speaking after the fatal shooting of conservative activist

Charlie Kirk yesterday. Both Republicans and Democrats have condemned the attack,

which Utah Governor Spencer Cox called a political assassination,

while the gunman remains at large. It's the latest in a recent string of political violence

incidents in the US, which includes the killing of Minnesota Democratic lawmaker Melissa

Hortman and her husband in June, an arson attack at the Pennsylvania governor's house in April,

and of course, the assassination

attempt against Trump himself last July.
